Hello, I am Mohammed Alwadiya.
After living through the first months of the genocide in Gaza and being forced to leave my city, leaving behind my homeland, my family, and everyone I love... despite all the pain, pressure, and days that felt like hell, I never stopped trying.
I kept pushing forward to build a dignified life for myself and my family who remain in Gaza.
"Because we love life. And we deserve it."
Thank you to South Africa 🇿🇦, its leadership, and its people for standing with Palestine and supporting our just cause. And thank you to all the free people of the world.
From Gaza 🇵🇸, we say to you: you are part of us, and we are part of you. We love you all.
بعد العيش خلال الأشهر الأولى من الإبادة الجماعية في غزة وإجباري على مغادرة مدينتي، تاركا وراءي وطني وعائلتي وكل من أحبه.. على الرغم من كل الألم والضغط والأيام التي شعرت وكأنها جحيم، لم أتوقف أبدا عن المحاولة. ظللت أمضي قدما لبناء حياة كريمة لنفسي ولعائلتي الذين لا يزالون في غزة، لأننا نحب الحياة. ونحن نستحق ذلك.
